The 7 habits of highly effective people
Habit #1: Be Proactive
Being proactive is important because if your proactive, your someone who takes charge or is someone who is dominant. For example, in life, you don't want to be a follower, you want to be a leader and by doing this, it shows that you are proactive.
Habit #2: Begin with the End in Mind
What this means is that being prepared is important because if you are prepared for anything, you will know what to do encase of an emergency. for example, if you have a first aid kit and someone get injured, you will know what to do in the situation.
Habit #3: Put first thing first
This is important because is you put important things first, than you will be successful. For example, if your do something important like get good grades, it's important to make that your priority.
Habit #4: Think Win-Win
What this means is that if you think in winning, you will be successful. For example, if your are always concentrated in your goals, then eventually you will achieve them.
Habit #5: Seek First to Understand, then to be Understood
This is very important because if you are able to understand better than being understood, you will have a better time learning something whether it being learning math or a new instrument. For example, if you are a better listener, than you will be able to understand better.
Habits #6: Synergize
It is important to be open-minded because it show other that you care what they have to say. For example, if your are group sharing, it is important to listen to everyone for what they have to say because it shows your interest.
Habits #7:
Covey explains the "Upward Spiral" model in the sharpening the saw section. Through our conscience, along with meaningful and consistent progress, the spiral will result in growth, change, and constant improvement. In essence, one is always attempting to integrate and master the principles outlined in The 7 Habits at progressively higher levels at each iteration. Subsequent development on any habit will render a different experience and you will learn the principles with a deeper understanding. The Upward Spiral model consists of three parts: learn, commit, do. According to Covey, one must be increasingly educating the conscience in order to grow and develop on the upward spiral. The idea of renewal by education will propel one along the path of personal freedom, security, wisdom, and power.

It is very important that you follow every habit mentioned because it will help you become a better person in the long run.For example, being a person who thinks win-win is someone who is positive and that is important.
