Being honest is one of the best character traits you could have. Being honest is one of the main skills on how to be well liked by others. I am sure you've hears the saying, honesty is the best policy. The first tip says to make a commitment to tell the truth because you are the first person you have to be honest with. If you cannot be honest to yourself, how could you be honest to others. The second tip says to tell someone that you are committed because you want to have others keep you to your commitment. The third tip  says to think before you lie because you don't want to tell a lie then regret it later. The fourth tip says to be careful when you use sarcasm or exaggerate because if you say it the wrong way the wrong time, it can be seen as rude or might be taken seriously then seem like a lie. Tip five says to not twist the truth or leave parts out because if you twist the truth, you are telling a lie. If you leave parts of the truth out, you are not lying but, if you know you are leaving parts out then you will be seen as dis truthful for not telling the truth.
